Document and Provision Model Reports

Discovery AI offers dashboards to help you review document and provision model characteristics..

Discovery AI provides dashboards that present detailed information about documents and provision models. The DAI Documents dashboard details documents in the system and the performance characteristics of their extraction. The dashboard offers at-a-glance graphics of overall document-processing performance and processing status by record type. It also provides tabular metadata review of all documents in the system. It describes the size, type, and other characteristics of the documents themselves and provides granular data on their processing, including time spent processing and reviewing, the completeness of document ingestion, extraction accuracy, and the worksheets and provision models used to extract them.

The DAI Provision dashboard provides an executive view of provision model processing performance, with dynamic graphics showing the volume of documents processed and accuracy trends for out-of-the-box and custom provision models. Tables also report these provision models' performance in detail.

Report and Dashboard Controls

Each chart widget on the dashboard offers several ways to organize data to provide visual insight into large-volume data management.
  • Apply Filters to fields to refine your view of report data.
    1. Click the Menu Open icon () in the top-left corner of the dashboard.
    2. The pop-up menu contains fields for filtration parameters. Enter parameters to narrow the information presented in the dashboard.
    3. When you have entered all parameters, click Apply filters.
Dashboard elements are redrawn to comply with the filter request.
  • Sort Data
    1. Open tabular data.
    2. Click the Sort icon () adjacent to the column heading
The entire table is sorted by the selected column, in reverse alphabetic, date, or value order.
    3. Click the sort icon again to reverse the order.
  • View as Table
    1. From the dashboard, find a graphical element (a chart, graph, or summary).
    2. Click the More () icon and select View as table.
The data used to generate the graphic is presented in tabular view.
    3. You can search, sort, and copy the table to your clipboard.
Tip: The search feature is a case-insensitive string literal search. You can search by name or name fragment, or if you have a specific number in mind, by that number. "Test" captures "Testimony" and "brightest". "38" captures "38", "1038", or "38,000"
The tabular date is stored to your clipboard as tab-separated text.
  • Export Charts and Tables
    1. Click the More () icon and select Download and the output you want.
    2. You can export to Excel or comma-separated value (.CSV) formats or click Download as image to generate a .jpg file of the chart in its present configuration.
  • Search Data

Search for specific data in a report.

  • Display Charts

Charts may present information as a summary or in pie, bar, line, histogram, funnel, or scatterplot display graphs showing your custom report data.

Hover your mouse over a chart to display the details.

  • View Records

In some data sets and product variants, you can open contract records to view details. To do this, click the contract name link.

Accessing Provision and Document Reports

  1. From the Conga Start page, click the App Launcher () and then click the Reports and Dashboards () icon from the resulting shared app menu.
This opens the Reports & Dashboards shared app.
  2. Click Discovery AI Report in the left navigation column.
  3. From here, you can open or clone either the DAI Provisions or DAI Documents report dashboard.
Note: You cannot customize the original DAI Provision or DAI Documents report dashboards. You must clone one of these original "master" report dashboards to customize it.
  4. Click the DAI Provision or DAI Documents hypertext to open a dashboard.

Provision Reports

Discovery AI offers standard reports to help you assess provision model effectiveness.

The Provision Reports page offers you statistics that enable you to understand provision model performance for your instance.

Overall Provision Accuracy

This is a simple, bottom-line assessment of overall accuracy, assessed with the formula:

Accuracy = (True Positives + True Negatives) / Total Predictions

In its default state, this number represents all extractions, but it changes to indicate individual provision types (clause, field, obligation, or table), if they are selected in other charts or filtered.

Provision Usage Breakdown (for Reviewed Documents)

This table indicates the number of times each provision model type (clause, field, obligation, or table) has been used to extract data from documents. These are further divided into custom and out-of-the-box (OOTB) categories.

Accuracy By - Provisions Category

This graphic presents accuracy by provision model type: out-of-the-box vs. custom. This percentage is an expression of the nominal accuracy described in Overall Provision Accuracy.

Accuracy By - Provision Type

This bar chart offers a visualization of extractions by type (clause, field, obligation, or table)

Three charts depict the accuracy of Discovery AI with respect to contract type (such as master service agreements, non-disclosures, etc.), provision model category (OOTB and custom), and provision model types (fields, clauses, obligations, and tables). Accuracy is calculated as described in Overall Provision Accuracy.

Custom and Out-of-the-Box Provision Lists

Two tables provide the raw data for all these charts, for both OOTB and custom provision models. Each table provides these data categories:

  • Provision Name
  • Provision Field ID
  • Provision Type
  • Data Type
  • Description
  • Language
  • True Positive
  • True Negative
  • False Positive
  • False Negative
  • User Modified
  • Correct Extractions
  • Incorrect Extractions
  • Total Extractions
  • Accuracy

You can filter by date range, provision category, provision type, provision language, accuracy, and incorrect extractions. Filtering does not affect the monthly accuracy trend charts.

You can export all report and chart elements as data or graphics.

Document Reports

Discovery AI offers standard reports on document throughput and AI accuracy for documents.

The Document Reports page offers you visualizations and statistics depicting document extraction volume and performance in your instance.

Total Documents Processed and Completed

The top two screen panels offer you simple, unambiguous, bottom-line performance metrics, identifying how many documents have been processed (i.e., ingested into the system) and how many of those documents have been completed (are out of processing and in the Complete state).

Documents Processed by Status and Record Type

This bar chart provides a view of all documents in the system and their current status, categorized by record type (e.g., master service agreement, purchase order, etc.) Hovering over any bar pops up a numeric breakdown of document statuses for that document type. Clicking any of the bar segments or record type legends toggles the availability of that status in the visualization, adding that document status as a cross-filter to the standard filter. You can also select all or invert your selection.

Note: You can filter this graphic by clicking the record types in the chart legend. When you do this, the vertical axis (Number of Documents) may be re-drawn. Do not assume the vertical axis to be absolute.

Accuracy by Record Type and Average Review Times

These two charts are dynamically plotted based on the document data as filtered. Record types are such categories as MSA, SOW, purchase order, and the like. The average review time is also plotted by these document types.

Document List

This table presents all available information concerning every document in your Discovery AI instance. You can use any of these columns to sort the table.
  • Document Name
  • Document ID
