Reviewing Imported Tables

You have logged into Discovery AI as a reviewer as described in Accessing Discovery AI and are at the Home page.

You can review and correct tables extracted from imported documents. This review process is similar to that for clause and field extractions, though the table form requires extra considerations. For each detected table you review, you can accept, reject, edit, or flag the extract for review by line or by table (bulk review).

  1. From the Home page, click the name of a file marked "Ready for Review". Alternatively, you can click the folder icon to access the Project Dashboard, open a folder, and click the name of a file marked "Ready for Review."
The selected document opens for review. The extracted document appears to the left, with review options to the right. The default selected option is Review. From this view, you can access tabs for Details, Insights, and Review History. From the Review tab, you can access sub-tabs for Summary, Fields, Clauses, Tables, and Obligations. The Fields tab opens in the default view.
  2. Click the Tables tab.
Extracted tables are listed below the Tables tab.
  3. Hover over the table name and click the Review/Edit Table text.
The selected table's table extraction appears below the document review pane, open to the default Review/Edit view.
  4. For each row, you can:
    • Double-click line items to edit individual values.
    • Use the up or down arrow icons to reorder the rows.

    • Click the plus-sign icon to add a row below the selected row.

    • Click the trash-can icon to delete the row.

  5. When several rows must be corrected in the same fashion, select those rows, then click the pencil icon to perform a bulk edit.
  6. For each column heading represented in the bulk edit pop-up modal, select only those values you will edit. Do not click the select box for valid values. Only the values you select here are subject to change. If you select a value and then do not enter information in its frame, the value in the extracted table will be overwritten with nothing.
  7. You can review your progress by clicking the Preview tab.
  8. When you have reviewed one, several, or all rows, click Mark as Reviewed.
CAUTION: This action is irrevocable. Once you mark a row as approved, you cannot edit it any further.
  9. When you have reviewed, edited, and approved the table, click Done.
You are returned to the Review/Tables view
