Mapping picklist field values requires you to create a Select Option Set and map the values of the Dynamics 365 picklist field to the values of a picklist field in Conga. In Dynamics 365, each value of a given picklist field is specified by a code (for example, "100000003"), while in Conga each value is the same as the picklist option (for example, "Request Approval").

To create a Select Option Set for mapping picklist values

The name of the Select Option Set you create here is required when you map picklist fields. Refer to Mapping Fields for steps.

  1. From the left panel, select Map Select Option. The Active Select Option Sets page is displayed.
  2. From the ribbon at the top of the page, click New. The New Select Option Set page is displayed.
  3. Enter the Name for the select option/picklist value set (for example, "Agreement Status").
  4. Click Save & Close to save the option set and return to the Active Select Option Sets page.
  5. Find the Select Option Set you just created in the list, and click on the link under the Name column.
  6. Click New Select Option Mapping. The New Select Option Mapping page is displayed.
  7. Enter the Select Option Mapping Name.

  8. Enter the Dynamics 365 Name (for example, "100000003"). See the task below to find the correct code.

  9. Enter the Conga Name (for example, "Request Approval").

  10. Repeat steps 6 – 8 for each picklist field value.
  11. Click Save & Close.

To find the code for your Dynamics 365 picklist value

  1. Navigate to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System.
  2. From the left navigation bar, click Entities under Components.



  3. Use Ctrl+F (Command+F on a Mac) to search for the entity where the picklist field exists and double-click the entity (for example, "Agreement").
  4. From the left navigation bar, click Fields under the entity name.



  5. Use Ctrl+F (Command + F on a Mac) to search for the picklist field and double-click the field name (the type must be "Option Set").
  6. Click an Option to see its value displayed in the Value field to the right.
