Login to Conga Advantage Platform

Conga Advantage Platform offers a streamlined login process by leveraging an external Identity Provider (IDP). This IDP integration is established through the widely adopted OAuth 2.0 protocol, facilitating seamless communication between the application and the external identity provider. Additionally, you have the option to sign in using a SAML username.

This approach eliminates the need to create new login credentials specifically for the Conga Revenue Lifecycle Management application. Instead, you can use your existing credentials from trusted third-party identity providers or your SAML username to sign in.

Tip:
If you are set up for both Preview and Production environments and:
  • You use Conga IdP, Salesforce, or Salesforce Sandbox as an identity provider for login, and want to log in to both environment simultaneously using different tabs of the same browser, see Logging in to Multiple Environments in the Same Browser.

  • You use any SAML 2.0 or Microsoft as an identity provider for login, and and want to switch between environments, see Organization Switching.

Prerequisites

  • You are onboarded to the Conga Advantage Platform. Ask your Conga representative onboarding assistance.
  • The administrator whose email address is provided during onboarding has received a welcome email containing the Conga Advantage Platform URL, and user name. Conga IDP is automatically activated for this administrator.

The administrator can then log in and configure another external integration (e.g., Salesforce, Salesforce Sandbox, SAML, etc.) to onboard other users with the configured external integration. The newly onboarded user will receive a welcome email with login details, a Conga Advantage Platform URL, and organization information that is used to sign in to the Conga Advantage Platform.

Attention:

If a user remains inactive for more than 1 hour, the application will automatically log them out.

Logging in to Multiple Environments in the Same Browser

  • You are onboarded with both Preview and Production environment.

  • You use Conga IDP, Salesforce, or Salesforce Sandbox as an Identity Provider.

  • You have the following region-specific login or instance URL handy:
    NAEUAU
    Login URLhttps://login-rls.congacloud.comhttps://login.congacloud.euhttps://login.congacloud.au
    Instance URL (Preview)https://preview-rls09.congacloud.comhttps://rls-preview.congacloud.euhttps://rls-preview.congacloud.au
    Instance URL (Production)https://prod-rls10.congacloud.comhttps://rls.congacloud.euhttps://rls.congacloud.au

When users try to log in to both the Preview and Production environments using different tabs of the same browser, they may face issues because both environments share the same authentication login URL. This shared URL can cause the browser to redirect to the most recently accessed environment, making it difficult to stay logged in to both simultaneously. To ensure proper access, users must use the correct region-specific login or instance URL when switching between environments.

This tasks you through the process of how you can access both environment simultaneously in the same browser. Here, we take the following example:

For example, you are logged in to the preview environment and want to access the production environment.

  1. Log in to the preview environment.
  2. Use any of the following option:
  3. Option 1:
    1. Open a second tab in the same browser.
    2. Use the region-specific production environment Login URL. Refer to the prerequisites section.
    3. Select the IdP and follow the login process.
  4. Option 2:
    1. Log out from the preview environment.
    2. Use the region-specific production environment Instance URL. Refer to the prerequisites section.
    3. Select the IdP and follow the login process.
You are logged in to the production environment.
