Preview: Conga Advantage Platform 202606.1.0 Release Notes

In these release notes, you can find enhancements and fixed and known issues for the Conga Advantage Platform 202606.1.0 release. For documentation updates, see What's New in Conga Advantage Platform Documentation.

Note:

This documentation may describe optional enhancements for which you have not purchased a license; therefore your solution or implementation may differ from what is described here. Contact your customer success manager (CSM) or account executive (AE) to discuss your specific enhancements and licensing.

Enhancements

The following enhancements are new to Conga Advantage Platform in this release.

Resource Dropdown Supports Record IDs for String and LongString Fields

You can now select and map record Id values directly to String and LongString fields from the Intellisense Resource Dropdown when configuring workflow activities. For example, in the Update Record activity, you can map a record Id to a field such as Description without creating a formula to convert the Id value to a string.

Workflow Display Name Enhancements

Use Display Name as the primary way to identify, search, and manage workflows. The application now requires a Display Name when you create or edit a workflow and automatically generates the system-managed Name field during workflow creation.

Additional improvements include:

  • Search workflows using Display Name.
  • Use flexible, user-friendly Display Names with support for spaces and up to 80 characters.
  • Automatically populate missing Display Names for existing workflows.
  • View recently modified workflows at the top of the workflow list with default sorting by Modified Date.
  • Return to the workflow list after saving or publishing a workflow and quickly access the updated workflow at the top while preserving any applied filters and search criteria.

For more information, see Workflow Management.

Service-Based Endpoint Filtering for HttpCalloutV2

You can now use the Service Name dropdown when configuring an HttpCalloutV2 activity. The Service Name field helps you quickly identify and select the appropriate endpoint configuration by grouping endpoint connections by service. When you select a service, the system displays its associated endpoint configurations. Workflow execution remains unchanged. For more information, see HTTP Callout V2.

New Activity: Custom Error for Screen Workflows

The Workflow module now includes a Custom Error activity for Screen Flow workflows. Use this activity to display clear, custom error messages to users when a screen action triggers a workflow that encounters an error. Instead of showing a generic system error, you can configure a specific message using static text or dynamic values from variables and activity outputs. The message appears directly on the screen and tells users what went wrong. For more information, see Custom Error activity.

Note: This activity supports error messaging only. Success and informational notification messages are planned for a future release.

Scheduled Jobs Run Under the Creator or Modifier User Context

Scheduled jobs now run using the context of the user who created or last updated the job. This behavior applies to both one-time and recurring schedules. For out-of-the-box (OOTB) jobs, the existing behavior remains unchanged unless the job is updated. Once updated, the job runs using the context of the user who made the change.

This enhancement helps ensure scheduled jobs run with the appropriate access and reduces issues caused by permission differences.

Enhanced Default Value Selection for Boolean Fields

Schema Manager now provides a dropdown for selecting default values when creating Boolean fields. You can explicitly choose Null, False, or True based on your requirements, with Null selected by default. This enhancement makes default value selection more transparent and gives you greater control over how Boolean fields behave when records are created. For more information, see Fields.

Product Family Support for UOM and Frequency Conversion Rate APIs

The runtime APIs for retrieving UOM and Frequency conversion rates now support Product Family–specific conversion rates. This enhancement provides additional flexibility when configuring and retrieving conversion rates.

When determining the applicable conversion rate, the system follows this precedence order:

  1. Product-specific conversion rates
  2. Product Family–specific conversion rates
  3. Global conversion rates

If multiple conversion rates exist at the same precedence level, the system uses the most recently modified record.

For more information, see Conversion Rate Lookup Precedence.

Dashboard Migration Support in Full Migration

You can now migrate Dashboards as part of the full migration process. The system preserves dashboard configurations, including layouts, filters, visualizations, and permissions, when migrating dashboards from a source environment to a target environment. For more information, see Full Migration.

Improved Visibility of Template Sync Errors in Run History

Data Sync Run History now displays detailed error messages when template sync operations fail. Administrators can view clear reasons for failures, such as missing template versions or invalid field mappings, directly in Run History.

Fixed Issues

The following issues are fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.

Case Number Conga Internal ID Description
00969567 PLATFORM-24701

Users with access to multiple organizations are unable to log in through Conga IDP and receive an auto-provisioning error, preventing access to their organizations.

00972093 PEET-2884

Scheduled data sync jobs remain stuck in an "In Progress" state and prevent new sync runs from starting. This issue impacts both scheduled and on-demand ELT syncs and interrupts data updates.

NA PEET-2790

When creating a Data Sync schedule, the system fails if the configured Salesforce password begins with a special character, such as @. The integration service incorrectly interprets the password as an expression instead of a literal value, causing the schedule creation request to fail with an internal server error and preventing the schedule from being created. This issue affects only Data Sync schedule creation.

Known Issues

There are no known issues in this release.
