Preview: Conga Advantage Platform 202607.2.0 Release Notes

In these release notes, you can find enhancements and fixed and known issues for the Conga Advantage Platform 202607.2.0 release. For documentation updates, see What's New in Conga Advantage Platform Documentation.

Note:

This documentation may describe optional enhancements for which you have not purchased a license; therefore your solution or implementation may differ from what is described here. Contact your customer success manager (CSM) or account executive (AE) to discuss your specific enhancements and licensing.

Enhancements

The following enhancements are new to Conga Advantage Platform in this release.

Telemetry Helper: Logging Optimization

The Advantage Platform now handles internal log messages more efficiently when processing operations through the custom code module. If a log message exceeds the allowed size limit, the platform automatically captures a preview for immediate diagnostics and retains the full message as information level in application logs, ensuring no diagnostic data is lost. For more information, see Telemetry Helper.

CancellationToken Support for Framework Class Extensions

You can now use a new, simpler cancellation syntax when writing custom code that extends Conga framework classes. This does not require passing a cancellation token explicitly. The platform now handles token retrieval automatically in these cases. For implementation details, see CancellationToken Implementation Guidelines.

Note: This update applies only to custom code classes that extend specific Conga framework classes. All other custom code must continue using the existing approach.

Manage Value Transformations from the Edit Field Mapping Page

The Edit Field Mapping page now includes an inline, expandable Value Transformations section. You can add, modify, view, and delete value transformation rules directly within the field mapping workflow. The section displays the assigned rule name and transformation status and provides guidance for configuring transformations when needed. For more information, see Transforming Field Values.

Migration Report Download for Completed and Partially Successful Migrations

Users can download the migration report during the migration process and again upon completion. The report provides a comprehensive summary of the migration, including the selected components, their migration status, and the number of records migrated for data activities, configurations, translations, and dashboards. For partially successful migrations, the report clearly identifies both completed and failed activities, giving users complete visibility into the migration outcome.

For more information, see Downloading Migration Report.

Platform Token URL Now Managed Automatically

The Data Sync Platform settings no longer show the Platform Token URL field. The system now manages the token authority URL securely, preventing unauthorized changes and improving overall security. This update requires no user action and does not affect existing data sync operations.

Data Sync: Guided Validation for Field Mapping Type Mismatches

The field mapping configuration now guides you to assign a Rule Name when the source and target field types require a transformation rule, ensuring your mappings are complete and data syncs correctly. When a type mismatch is detected, a warning appears inline on the field mapping row and the save is blocked until you assign a Rule Name. This applies to both the Create mapping and Edit mapping flows.

Fixed Issues

The following issues are fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.

Case NumberConga Internal IDDescription
IE-1447PLATFORM-25405

When an administrator updates the permission groups for a role that is assigned to a large number of users, the changes are not reflected for all users. As a result, some users continue to see outdated permissions and incorrect access to application features.

00974357PLATFORM-25276

ServiceHook executions on the Conga Platform trigger multiple traces for the same record, causing partial execution attempts and failures due to data integrity constraints in Salesforce.

-EUF-7816

Permission groups with spaces in their names are not recognized correctly, causing application access issues for users assigned to such groups.

CPV-1771EUF-7722

Opening a related agreement in a new tab from the Quick Preview panel on the Agreement Details page changes the current page context to the related agreement instead of retaining the original agreement context.

00974551EUF-7651

Non-admin users cannot set and retain a custom default view on application pages. After selecting a custom view and setting it as the default, the system reverts to the original Default view upon page refresh or navigation.

Resolution:

Administrators must grant the ViewSettingMapping object permission (with ModifyAll access) to the non-admin user permission group. This permission allows users to save and retain their personal default view preference.

Known Issues

There are no known issues in this release.
