Creating a Document-Level Rule

The CongaAIPLATAdminPermission permission group has been added to your user profile. For more information, see User Management. Ensure that the following object permissions are included in the permission group:
  • RedlineDocumentMap

  • RedlineDocumentMapping

  • RedlinePlaybook

  • RedlinePlaybookDocumentMap

  • RedlinePlaybookRuleMap

  • RedlineRule

A document-level rule applies validation across the entire contract document where information may be spread across multiple clauses.
  1. In Conga Advantage Platform, go to Aime Settings > Solution Setup.
  2. Click View Settings in the Redline tab.
  3. Click the Rules Library tab.
    A list of existing rules is displayed.
  4. Click + Create Rule.
  5. Click the Document-Level tab.
  6. Specify the Rule Name.
  7. In Favorable Position, define the language or terms that are acceptable per your organization's standards.
  8. In Risk Conditions, enter unfavorable conditions in the appropriate risk tier: Note: You must specify at least one condition — Favorable, High Risk, Medium Risk, or Low Risk — to save the rule.

    High RiskEnter conditions that are deal-breakers or require immediate escalation.
    Medium RiskEnter conditions that are negotiation points needing attention.
    Low Risk Enter conditions that represent minor concerns or preferences.
    Note: You must specify at least one condition type, Favorable Position or Risk Conditions when configuring a rule.
  9. Click Create.
The rule is added to the Rule Library.
You can add the rule to a playbook.
