New Features and Enhancements
The following features are new to Approvals in this release.
Column Layout Setting for Approval Details in Preview and My Approvals Pages
A new Column Layout for Details (Preview & My Approvals) configuration under Custom Config Settings lets you control how information appears in the Details panel on the Preview and My Approvals pages. You can configure the layout to display information in one, two, three, or four columns. For more information, see Creating an Approval Custom Config.
Multiple Picklist Field Support
The Approvals app now supports multi-picklist field types in approval criteria. When a multi-picklist value on the context object record meets the defined criteria, the app creates the corresponding approval request upon submission.
Approval History: Attachment Error Handling
The Approvals app now handles approval history attachments more reliably. If a file attached during the approval process is deleted or inaccessible, the app displays the message: “One or more files could not be retrieved.” You can still access all other attachments through their links. The app also filters out invalid attachment IDs, ensuring that all other approval details load correctly.
