Approvals System Property Update: Suppress Queue Notifications

Suppress Queue Emails system property is now Suppress Queue Notifications in the Approvals UI and the Approvals REST API (/api/approvals/v1/system-properties), on both GET and PUT endpoints. The new name reflects its expanded scope: it suppresses queue-targeted notifications across all supported channels, including email and Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams Rejection Acknowledgement for Email and My Approvals Actions

Conga Approvals now sends an acknowledgement card in Microsoft Teams when an approver rejects a request via email or the My Approvals page. The card reflects the rejected status and any rejection comments the approver provides, keeping the Teams thread in sync with actions taken outside of Teams. This behavior applies automatically to tenants with Conga Approvals for Microsoft Teams enabled. The administrator does not need to configure any settings. Consolidated Notification Settings

Consolidated Notification Custom Settings for submitters now support multiple notification types. Administrators can select Email, Chat, or both to configure how submitters receive consolidated approval and rejection notifications. The settings are renamed from Enable Consolidated Notification on Approvals to Consolidated Notification on Approvals and from Enable Consolidated Notification on Rejections to Consolidated Notification on Rejections. Control visibility of reassignment options on approval pages

The Administrator can control the visibility of reassignment options on approval pages.

• On the My Approvals page, the organization can request a configuration to hide the Reassign button from all non-admin users. When enabled, this configuration allows only the Administrator to view and use the Reassign option.
• On the Approval Center, the Administrator can use the CX Studio Layout Editor to show or hide the Reassign to Me button. This setting applies to all users who use the layout, unless the Administrator configures a user-specific Approval Center layout.

Slack Integration for Conga Approvals

You can now integrate Conga Approvals for Advantage Platform with Slack application. Approvers receive direct notifications, view approval request details, and respond with approve or reject actions, including comments, directly within Slack. Approvers and requestors access the My Approvals page directly from Slack messages. Requestors also receive Slack notifications when their requests are rejected or auto-reapproved. The integration supports advanced approval workflows, including queues, user groups, ad-hoc approvers, and approval policies such as Majority and Percentage-based policies.

Administrators enable this integration for their organization by installing the Conga Approvals app in their Slack workspace and enabling the Slack connector in Conga Platform System Settings. For more information, see Approvals in Slack.

Approval History: Display Record Names with Direct Links

Approval History now displays the Object Name and Child Object Name, such as Clause, Line Item, or Quote, with a direct link to the corresponding record for each approval request. Selecting the record name opens the related record details page, enabling users to quickly access and review approval context. This feature depends on the Object Details Link Path setting in Approvals Custom Config, which the administrator configures for both parent and child objects.
