Enhancements
The following enhancements are new to Billing in this release.
Rate Calculation Using Tier-Level Discounts and Markups
The Usage Input Rating and Estimate APIs now calculate the final per-unit price by applying tier-level percentage-based Discount or Markup adjustments to the Net Unit Price defined in the billing header, instead of using List Price Override at the unit tier level.This enhancement currently supports Discrete, Range, and Cumulative Range dimension values, ensuring that invoiced amounts accurately reflect negotiated pricing adjustments.

Custom Plan Templates Creation UI
Finance administrators can create custom plan templates directly from the admin page. The creation form lets admins configure template metadata — such as plan type, computation method, and number of installments — and detailed installment lines including revenue percentage allocation (up to 8-decimal precision) and payment terms. The interface supports custom and even-distribution methods, with validations ensuring installment percentages total 100%.

Custom Plan Creation Using Plan Templates on Order Header
Sales representatives can create custom plans for order line items using predefined templates through the Manage Custom Plans button on the order header. Leveraging templates streamlines plan creation by eliminating the need to manually configure all details, while enabling flexible billing aligned with revenue recognition and cash flow requirements.

Direct Milestone or Term-Based Custom Plan Creation on Order
Sales representatives can now create Milestone or Term-Based custom plans directly from the order UI using a dedicated action. These plans are built through an entry form, eliminating the need for predefined templates and enabling flexible invoicing when standard templates do not meet specific requirements.
