New Features and Enhancements

The following features are new to CLM in this release.

Copilot Rebranding to Q&A Agent

As part of the Copilot rebranding initiative, Copilot has been rebranded as Q&A Agent.

CLM has updated all launch points, labels, and tooltips to support the rebranding while maintaining existing workflows.

Contact Creation without Mandatory Account Association

The Account field is no longer mandatory when creating a contact in the platform UI, allowing contacts to be added without linking them to an account. Administrators can configure CX-Studio rules to conditionally require the Account field based on organizational needs. This update supports use cases such as maintaining external contacts and address book entries independently of accounts.

Intent-based Contract Type Availability

The system now restricts contract creation from the Account Page to display only sell-side contract types and automatically applies the page layout corresponding to the contract type selected. For more information, see Creating a New Contract for an Account topic under Accounts Management in CLM for Advantage Platform user’s guide.

Permission Group Attribute-Based Data Security

Administrators can now configure permission groups that combine functional permissions and data security rules, enabling attribute-based CRUD permissions for Account, Contract, Supplier, and Legal Entity groups. The new Property Scope tab in permission groups allows setting permissions for each attribute value, applying both object-level and property-level controls for admin and non-admin roles. For more information, see Property-Based Access Control (PBAC) topic in Conga Advantage Platform for Administrators guide.
