New Features

The following features are new to CLM in this release.

External Recipient Warning

A warning message now appears when sending agreements to external recipients, based on configured org-wide internal domains (APTS_InternalEmailDomains) and/or Account primary contact domain validation (APTS_ValidateAccountDomain). The popup displays a confirmation message and options to proceed or cancel, helping contract managers prevent accidental sharing of sensitive information outside the organization. This validation applies to review and signature workflows, including parallel review when enabled. For more information, see APTS_InternalEmailDomains and APTS_ValidateAccountDomain admin entries and Sending an Agreement for Review.

Parallel Review Initiation Notification

An email notification is triggered when a parallel review is initiated. Contract Owners can select users to be notified using the Recipients for Parallel Review Notification section on the Send for Review screen. For more information, see Sending an Agreement Document for Review.

Administrators can control the visibility of the recipient selection section using the Parallel Review Recipients Section setting, which is disabled by default. For more information, see Comply System Properties.

Search Agent

A new AI-driven Search Agent helps you find and explore agreements, clauses, and related documents using natural-language queries.

Administrators can enable the Search Agent using the “Enable Search Agent” comply user property, which controls user access to the capability. For more information, see Comply User Properties.

The Search Agent allows users to search and explore contracts across the repository using natural-language queries, even when queries include typos or alternate legal terms. Users can ask follow-up questions within the same conversation to refine results, narrow or broaden the scope, and explore related details. The Search Agent supports listing agreements by status, identifying relevant clauses, and navigating agreement relationships such as amendments and related documents. For more information, see Search Agent.

Rebranding Copilot to Q&A Agent

As part of rebranding initiative, Copilot has been rebranded as Q&A Agent. CLM has updated all launch points, labels, and tooltips to support the rebranding while maintaining existing workflows and behavior. For more information, see Comply User Properties, Q&A Agent, and AI Configurator.

Default Version Setting for Offline Imports

System administrators can configure the default state of the Create Major/Minor Version toggle for offline document imports, to enforce consistent versioning practices across the organization. Contract managers and owners can override this default for individual imports. The imported document version created reflects the final toggle state at the time of import. For more information, see Enable Document Versioning in Comply System Properties and Importing an Offline Document by Updating an Existing Document Version.

Support Visualforce Templates in O365 Reviews

Visualforce templates are now supported in all O365 review types?internal, external, and mixed?enabling consistent editing and management of template content. Include the SharePoint URL in Visualforce templates for proper integration. For more information, see Sending an Agreement Document for Review.

Parallel Review Completion Notification CC

Users can receive notifications when a parallel review is completed, with the agreement owner and review initiator automatically copied on the completion email. For more information, see Sending an Agreement Document for Parallel Review.

Administrators can control this behavior by enabling the Parallel Review Completion CC setting, which is disabled by default and prevents duplicate notifications when the owner and initiator are the same user. For more information, see Comply System Properties.

Administrators can also configure additional CC recipients by using the APTS_CCRecipientsOnParallelReviewCompletion admin property to specify email addresses or distribution lists. Multiple recipients are supported and can be separated by commas or semicolons. These recipients are added in addition to existing notification recipients and apply to completion notifications triggered through both the UI and email replies. For more information, see Admin Entries.

Contract Language Preview

A new Preview column is added to the Document Versions, Agreement Documents, and Documents sections, allowing users to view contract language and document content directly in the web browser without downloading files. The Preview column is hidden by default and supports all available file types in these sections. For more information, see Previewing an Agreement Document.

Parallel Review Completion without Attachments

Reviewers can now complete parallel reviews by replying to email notifications with predefined or admin-configured approval phrases, without attaching the agreement document. The contract status updates automatically based on the approval received. For more information, see Document Review Submission.
