Document Merge User Interface
The Document Merge UI can be used through the Composer for Advantage Platform API to select templates, preview the merge and determine the method of delivery.
In order to opt into using the Document User Interface, navigate to Composer Setup tab and enable the Document Merge UI option.
Launch the Document Merge UI through an existing Composer Button. Once it loads, you will see the template selection UI.
Note: You may select up to a maximum of 40 templates that each have a maximum size of 20mb.
Click on the documents you want to merge and they will populate in the list on the right. Use the :: icon to drag and drop your templates into your desired output order. You can also use the Upload Local Template button to pull a template from your local machine. You can select email templates, different delivery methods, and specify the file names. Once you have made your selections, click Generate & Preview. This will navigate you to the Preview window to review your merge document. Click the button in the upper right to move to the next step. The button text will be different depending on the Delivery Method you selected (Compose Email, Compose Sign, Download).
Note: You will not be charged for the merge on the Preview window, only when the document is merged and downloaded or merged and sent to be emailed/e-signed.
