To create a binder manually

You can review known master agreements and assign documents to them based on your understanding of contract terms, structures, and history.

  1. Click the Contract Binders icon in the left navigation bar to open the Contract Binders feature.


  2. Click the Add a Binder button () above and to the right of the binder listings.
  3. At Step 1: Select file(s) to create a binder, select all files you will assign to the binder.
  4. Click in the field marked Choose main contract for binder and select the binder's main file from the drop-down menu. If the main file is not visible in this list, go back a step and select it.
  5. Click PROCEED.
  6. Enter the name of the binder In the Name of the binder field. Click PROCEED.
  7. You have created the binder. You can rename the binder, view files in the binder and review their history, add more files, flag the binder for review, edit the binder's effective terms, or delete the binder.

    Alternatively, you can select a file from the Documents view or Documents Stage, click the More button () and select Create binder from the pull-down menu, then enter the manual creation flow at step 6, above.
