Troubleshooting CLM (Conga Contracts for Salesforce)

"Redlining is only available to Conga Contracts customers" error

Users with Conga Enterprise receive the following error after generating a contract when the DS7 parameter is set to 111: Redlining is only available to Conga Contracts customers. You either do not have the CC app installed or are not a licensed user of it.

A recent Salesforce update requires users to manually assign custom setting definitions.

  1. Create a permissions set.
  2. Go to Custom Setting Definitions.
  3. Add the custom settings APXT_Redlining. Conga Api Settings and APXT_Redlining.Conga General Settings.
  4. Assign the permission set to the non-admin users.
    Note:

    Contracts for Salesforce will add these permissions to the permission sets in a later release.
