Integrating Conga Contracts and Salesforce with SalesConnect
SalesConnect is a deprecated service. See Salesforce Integrations for more information on our latest and supported integration methods.
Once you have installed SalesConnect, you must integrate Contracts and Salesforce so that contract requests submitted from Salesforce can be reviewed in Contracts. During the integration process, it is recommended that you log in to Contracts in your browser, and then open a second tab in the browser and log in to Salesforce so that both programs are running simultaneously.
Prior to establishing the integration:
- Make sure all the needed Contracts request types have been created in Salesforce, and the names of the request types are similar enough to the corresponding Contracts contract request types so that they can easily be mapped to one another.
- Salesforce users have been granted permissions to Conga Contracts contract types.
- Document Type is defined for the attachments that are included with contract requests submitted from Salesforce to Contracts.
Once the integration is completed, you can add the contract request types that salespeople will use, and customize the program screens that capture contract request information and account data in Salesforce.
Mapping Contract Types and Request Types
Initial mapping between Contracts and Salesforce involves mapping the Salesforce contract type to the Conga Contracts Request Type and Contract Type.
