Search - Browse Screen

The Search option that is available from most browse screens allows you to locate one or more data records stored in the screen.

The Search option that is available from most browse screens allows you to locate one or more data records stored in the screen, such as a specific company or contract listed in the All Companies or All Contracts screen. The browse screens linked to Company and Contract Profiles also contain the Search option, allowing you to quickly locate Documents, Document Packages, People, and Projects.

The Tools menu contains links to several browse screens that include the Search feature, such as Contract Requests and Approvals, as well as the Person, Global Documents, and Clause browse screens.

The Search option that is available from the Navigation Toolbar allows you to run a search on all data stored in Conga Contracts.

Browse screen

Almost all browse screens include the Search option, including the browse screens in your My Place menu, the All Companies and All Contracts screens, and some of the browse screens linked to Company, Contract, and Project Profiles.

Search field

Enter your search criteria in the field using the first few characters or values and press the ENTER key on your keyboard, or click the magnifying glass icon.
  • Use a leading wild card, denoted by an asterisk (*) if you do not know the first few characters or values.
  • Use a trailing wild card, denoted by an asterisk (*), to return all records that begin with the criteria you enter. For example, entering MAS* returns all contracts with a Master Agreement Type.

Search filter

Enter the criteria you want to filter in the black filter field, and click the filter icon.

Search results

Review the search records that match your criteria. Click on the Company, Contract, or Document tab to view results.

Important:

Search results are returned only if you enter the first name, word, or value, or the beginning word in a text string, used in any of the searchable fields for a data record. For example, if you are searching for a company whose name is Pearson Wallace & Blake, results will be returned if you enter Pearson or Pearson Wallace in the Search field, but no results will be returned if you enter Wallace or Blake.
