Receiving Email Notification for an Event

When a user creates an event in a Contract Profile or Company Profile, or sets up an event for a contract's original expiration date, they select the individuals who should be notified of the upcoming event. Contracts send an email message (event alert) to each of these individuals on the notification date, advising them of the event. Conga Contracts calculates the notification date using the information provided in the Event Date and Warn Days fields during the creation process, such that the Notification Date = Event Date - Number of Warn Days.

If you were selected to be notified of the event, you will receive an event alert that contains the date of the event, its description, and a message from the program user who created the event. The email will be from Conga Contracts Event and the subject line will reflect the name of the company or contract event.

  1. Review the event information provided in the email message.
  2. Click the Go To Event link in the message to be directed to the contract or company event once you log in to Contracts.
  3. (Optional) Click the Go to Contract and/or Go To Company links in the message to review additional information in the Contract and/or Company Profiles for the event.
  4. The email message also contains the event date, which is color-coded based on its status. Green = Scheduled, Yellow = Due, Orange = Escalated, and Red = Past Due.
