Viewing Quote Details
Once the proposal is successfully created, you can view the quote's related information at any time. This feature allows you to view and make the necessary changes to the existing configurations as required.
From the quote details page, you can view associated links to view Product Configurations, Documents, Line Items, Orders, Assets, Approvals, Quote Locations, Contract etc. On this page you can perform all the required actions to complete the quote lifecycle.
Ensure that the quote end date occurs after the start date. Validation on the quote fields can be achieved via a workflow (before saving the quote). The system displays the message based on the trigger conditions that have been defined.
The quote progress tracker allows you to track different stages of quotes operations or progress in real-time.
At the top-right corner of the screen, you can view the quote owner's details, the quote's grand total, and the Next Steps button. If the quote has been shared with individual users or user groups, circular indicators appear between the grand total and the Next Steps button. Hover over any circle to see the corresponding user's name. When the quote is shared with more than three users, only three circles are shown along with a number indicating the additional users. For example, if the quote is shared with seven users, you can see three circles and a "+4" indicator.
On this page, the information is spread across three sections: Basic Information, Additional Information, and SAAS Metrics.

The Purchase Identifier (PI) value from the quote is displayed on all cart line items during the asset-based operations. If an asset has PI value, then user is restricted from updating the PI value on all primary asset lines. However if the PI value on primary line of a bundle is updated, then the value is copied till sub bundle options and rolled up lines during new sale. Assets with blank PI values inherit the quote's PI value, while assets with existing PI values remain unchanged.

ACV will be calculated at Bundle line as it included value of all its options. ACV from Summary line is copied to Quote after finalization. ACV at specific line/option product can be excluded based on ACV Price rule setup.
The vertical navigation bar on this page supports configuration-based visibility controls for sidebar options such as Line Items, Orders, Assets, Approvals, Quote Locations, Contracts, Collaboration Requests, and Sign Transactions. Visibility can be configured at both the role and user level.
To control the visibility of these options in CX Studio, update the CPQ WEB application entry where Entity Type = Proposal and Variant = vertical-navList. In the Object Layout, select the appropriate Owner Type (Role or User) and specify the corresponding owner. For each related list option that should be hidden, add the following property: "hidden": true The selected sidebar option will be hidden for the specified role or user.
