Importing and Exporting Field Mapping
- To import field metadata from an Microsoft Excel file outside of Dynamics 365:
- From the ribbon at the top of the page, from the ribbon at the top of the page, click vertical ellipsis and click Import from Excel. To export fields for a single object, go to the Map Objects page and open the specified object.
- Click Choose file and select the desired file. The Microsoft Excel file must exactly match the format when exported from Microsoft Dynamics 365. You can also import a CSV file in the same way.
- To export field metadata mapped fields:
- From the ribbon at the top of the page, click vertical ellipsis and click Export to Excel.
- Enter the file name as you required and click Save.
