55 Cannot Add a Product to Cart

Error

The error Failed to reprice.: Attempt to de-reference a null object. is displayed on the Catalog page when you add a product to the Cart.

Cause

This happens when there is an incorrect entry in Config Custom Classes.

What to do

Perform the following steps to resolve the error:

  1. Go to Setup > Develop > Custom Settings > Config Custom Classes.
  2. Check if any entry is invalid.
