6 Revalidation Error

Error

Revalidation error message is displayed when you revalidate a product on the Cart page specifically to upgrade the product version from null to 1.

Cause

This happens when the Apttus_Config2_ProductVersion_c field is missing in the View Cart Custom Fields config system property and the metadata is not updated.

To add Apttus_Config2_ProductVersion_c in View Cart Custom Fields

Perform the following steps to resolve the error:

  1. Go to Setup > Develop > Custom Settings > Config System Properties.
  2. Click Manage. Edit System Properties.
  3. Add Apttus_Config2_ProductVersion_c in View Cart Custom Fields.
  4. Click Save.

To update the metadata

  1. Go to All Tabs > CPQ Console > Maintenance Console.
  2. Click Refresh Field Metadata under Query Field Metadata.
