Disabling the API Cache

Digital Commerce has a cache that stores dynamic queries so that APIs do not have to rebuild them each time they are used. However, there is an issue with DC API Cache overload when creating Bulk Orders. To address this issue, you need to create an admin key for the Storefront where you want to disable the API Cache.

To disable the API Cache

  1. Click the App Launcher () icon > search and select Admin.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter the following information:

    Field

    Description

    Name

Enter the exact name as {{Storefrontname}}.DisableApiCache.

For example: If your storefront name is Ecommerce, then the name must be Ecommerce.DisableApiCache.

    Note:

Make an Admin record for each storefront where you want to disable the API Cache.

    Value

    Enter the value as true.

    Code

    Keep this field blank.

  4. Click Save.
