Setting Up CLM Reverse Data Sync

You have established an identity provision (IdP) service as described in Adding a new external integration.

Reverse data sync writes data from the Advantage Platform to Salesforce.

Discovery AI on the Advantage Platform can interoperate with documents and data stored in Salesforce's cloud.

To set up CLM data sync with Salesforce, follow the instructions in Data Sync.

Note:

Owing to Salesforce limitations, you cannot reverse-sync custom objects mapped to tables (except those mapped to agreement line-item tables) to Salesforce.

Discovery AI can copy custom tables back to Salesforce, but not using reverse sync.

  1. From Conga Start, open Admin Console > Organization > Conga API Connections.
  2. Click Add API-to-API Connection.
  3. Select the external identifier you created in Adding a new external integration and enter a client name. You may also enter a description. Click Save and Generate Client Secret.
A client ID and secret are returned.
    CAUTION:

Copy and store these safely and securely. You will not get a second chance to copy them. If they are compromised, you may be at risk of service theft.

If you click Cancel, you will lose this data and you may not be able to re-establish a key using your identity.

  4. Open the Admin Console and click the Data Sync tile.
  5. Click the More () icon at top right, and then select Settings from the drop-down menu.
    The Settings page is displayed.
  6. Configure the Salesforce Settings, Platform Settings, Email Notification Settings, and Custom Settings, accessing each tab in turn.

    2. Configuring the Platform Settings
    3. Configuring Email Notification Settings
