Approvals for Advantage Platform Feb '26 Release Notes

New Features
The following features are new to Approvals in this release.
Improvements to Approval Flow, My Approvals, and Attachment Visibility
- Approval Flow Step Admin Screen: The Step Details panel now expands automatically when you select a step, allowing you to view details more clearly without additional clicks.
- My Approvals screen:
- Checkboxes for steps and sub-steps now remain visible for all items, making it easier to select multiple items.
- Reassign, Reject, and Approve actions are now also available at the bottom of the left panel, enabling faster bulk actions.
- Only the legend color appears on selected steps or sub-steps, providing a cleaner and clearer status indication.
- View Attachments in Approval Center: You can now view and download attachments linked to approval requests directly in the Approval Center. Enable the Show Attachments in Approval Center system property to view attachments easily. When this property is enabled, a Has Attachments column appears in the Approval Center grid, showing an attachment icon for any request that includes files added during submission, RFIs, or comments. Usability Improvements for Approvals and Attachments
Introduced the following improvements to approvals and attachment-related features:
- Approvals Reassignment: The Save button in the reassign popup remains disabled until all mandatory fields are completed, preventing incomplete submissions.
- Attachments Experience: The attachment dialog box is updated to provide a cleaner file list. You can scroll more easily, view full file names, and identify file types using icons.
- Approvals History: Attachment Search: You can now search and filter attachments on the Approvals History page using the file name. The field label is updated to Attachments for better clarity.Note: File name search currently supports the “Contains” option only.
Custom Email Templates for Approval Workflows in CPQ
Approvals now supports custom CPQ email templates for key workflow actions, including Assignment, Reassignment, Escalation, Notify Only, and Reminder. These templates use the TemplateData.ProposalObject, TemplateData.LineItems, and TemplateData.ProductConfiguration JSON objects to dynamically display proposal, cart, and line item details, along with any allowed custom fields.
