Fixed Issues

The following issues are fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.

Case Number Conga Internal ID Description
00920249 CPQ-94302

The Approvals system approved requests even when the response came from a non-Salesforce user’s email ID.

Resolution: A new admin property, “APTS_LimitEmailApprovalToSalesforceUsersOnly,” has been introduced to control email-based approvals. The system now verifies the sender’s email ID before processing approval requests and follows the admin property settings.

  • If set to True, the system prevents non-Salesforce users from approving or rejecting requests via email and sends a bounce-back notification.
  • If set to False, the system allows all users to approve or reject requests, even if the email ID is not registered in Salesforce.

For more details, see Configuring an Admin Property in the Approvals for Administrators guide.

Known Issues

The following unresolved issues are known to Conga at the time of this release.

Conga Internal ID Description
CPQ-93912

The system does not include attachments in the 2nd Approver's email when a dependency is set in the Ad-hoc Approval Process. The 1st Approver receives the attachment, but the 2nd Approver's email lacks it, affecting the approval workflow.

CPQ-93828

The system fails to enforce mandatory approval comments in Outlook Desktop, approving requests without comments, while Outlook Web correctly rejects them.
