New Features and Enhancements
The following features are new to CLM in this release.
Notes Field on Workflow Activities
You can now add text notes to Business Interaction activities such as Approval, E-Signature, and Document Generation within the workflow. This feature lets you capture activity-specific details in plain text, with a limit of 2,000 characters per note. The Notes field is also included in the API response, allowing other applications such as CLM to display this information as needed. For example, you can view these notes while working on a different stage of a contract in the CLM app, helping you access clear and relevant information right when you need it. These notes help provide context, direction, and clarity for users who may not fully understand the steps or rules behind the contract creation process. For more information, see Activities.
Document Download Support in Contract Requests
Approvers can now view and download attachments submitted with contract requests, supporting both read-only and editable summary views. This change allows shared file handling between the approval and submission flows, impacting how attachments are managed and accessed during request approvals.
