Preview: CLM for Advantage Platform 202607.1.0 Release Notes

In these release notes, you can find enhancements and fixed and known issues for the CLM 202607.1.0 release. For documentation updates, see What's New in CLM Documentation.

Note:

This documentation may describe optional enhancements for which you have not purchased a license; therefore your solution or implementation may differ from what is described here. Contact your customer success manager (CSM) or account executive (AE) to discuss your specific enhancements and licensing.

Enhancements

The following enhancements are new to CLM in this release.

The system maintains a single, accurate set of chevrons reflecting the correct workflow status and color coding when navigating between related contract records. Chevrons no longer duplicate or change unexpectedly across tabs or menus, ensuring consistent status visualization for all contract relationships.

Contract and Request Type Picklist Sorting

In this fix, the Contract type (on contracts) and Request type (on contract requests) picklists show options based on the order defined in the schema.

Adobe Sign Button Visibility Control for Admin Users

In this fix, the system hides the Adobe Sign option for customers who do not have Adobe Sign enabled, preventing users from seeing an unavailable e-signature feature.

Users can now view all conversations they initiated, participated in, or were tagged in, with the Entity ID field displaying the relevant functional ID as a hyperlink for direct navigation to the entity record. The Entity ID shows the Contract Number for contracts, Request Number for supplier requests, Account Number for accounts, and Supplier Code for suppliers; object ID is displayed for contract requests. This update enables users to quickly access associated records from the conversations list, supporting traceability across all contexts. For more information, see My Conversations section in Conversations topic.

Enhanced Contract Request Feature Toggle

The new Enhanced Contract Request feature toggle in CLM Feature Management enables support for third-party paper (TPP) and multi-request flows, allowing users to upload counterparty documents and submit multiple related contract requests as a request. Administrators can manage this setting to control access to enhanced contract request capabilities. When enabled, this toggle updates both the user interface and backend APIs to support these advanced contract request scenarios. For more information, see CLM Feature Management.

Reminder Notifications for Supplier Contacts

The system sends a consolidated reminder notification to each supplier contact 7 days before the due date for obligations with a status of Pending Fulfilment. Each supplier contact receives a single email per contract per day, listing all assigned obligations due in 7 days, provided the contract is active and no duplicate reminders are sent. For more information, see Obligation Notifications.

Overdue Obligation Notification to Supplier Contacts

The system sends a one-time overdue notification to each supplier contact when an obligation remains in "Pending Fulfilment" status for 7 days past its due date. Notifications are grouped by supplier contact and contract, with each contact receiving a single consolidated email per day at 10 AM (organization time zone), excluding obligations linked to expired, terminated, canceled, or inactivated contracts. For more information, see Obligation Notifications.

Obligation Due Date Reminder Notifications for Supplier Contacts

The system sends a consolidated reminder notification to each supplier contact at 10 AM (organization time zone) on the due date for all assigned obligations with status Pending Fulfilment. Each supplier contact receives a single email per contract per day, listing only obligations due that day, and reminders are not sent for obligations linked to expired, terminated, canceled, or inactivated contracts. For more information, see Obligation Notifications.

Agreement Line Items Page Customization via CX-Studio

In this fix, the Agreement line items page supports CX-Studio configuration, allowing administrators to create, clone, and set default layouts. Users can customize views, add fields, and use improved search, filter, and freeze pane features for better data management.

Unread Conversations Toggle in Conversations List

Access a new Unread option in My Conversations to filter and display only conversations with unread messages. The default option in My Conversations is Unread. Unread conversations are visually distinguished with a highlighted background, bold titles, while read conversations remain visible when the Unread option is off. For more information, see My Conversations section in Conversations topic.

Conga CLM & Dynamics 365 Integration Enhancement

The Opportunity object now includes a Previous Opportunity lookup and a Previous Contract Number formula field in the Conga CLM Details section. These fields display only when the "Request Type" is set to "Amendment" and allow users to reference and report on the contract number from a related previous opportunity within the same account. The formula field automatically retrieves the contract number from the selected previous opportunity, or remains blank if no contract number is available.

Account and Supplier-Based Filtering in Contract Relationships

This feature filters contract lookup results in the Relationships tab to display only contracts associated with the same account or supplier as the current contract. Users can use Advanced Search to further refine contract selection using account or supplier, contract type, and status category filters when creating contract relationships. For more information, see Contract Relationships.

Conga CLM Template Admin Role and Permission Group

Conga CLM Template Admin is an out-of-the-box role that enables users to manage contract templates and clause libraries, including creating, editing, and maintaining templates, clauses, and contract records, without granting access to contract execution or system administration. The role supports document generation and preview, provides read-only access to related contract objects, and can be extended through additional permission groups or customized by cloning its associated permission group. For more information, see Out-of-the-Box Roles.

Conga CLM Legal is a role for in-house legal users that provides full access to contract lifecycle activities—such as negotiation, redlining, eSignature, and clause management—while restricting system administration access. Administrators can assign this role directly, add additional permission groups for expanded access, or clone the permission group to create custom variants. For more information, see Out-of-the-Box Roles.

AiMe Is On by Default

The default value of the contract-copilot feature flag is now TRUE across all environments, including Preview and Production. This change enables the feature by default for all users.

Redline Agent: Drag-and-Drop Rearrangement of Associated Rules

Users can now reorder rules in the Associated Rules section using the 6-dot drag-and-drop icon. This enhancement enables users to arrange rules in their preferred sequence. For more information, see Creating a Playbook.

Redline Agent: Restriction on Playbook and Rule Modifications During Active Execution

The system now prevents users from modifying or deleting playbooks and rules while a playbook execution is in progress. When a user attempts to modify or delete a playbook or rule during an active execution, the system displays an error message in the user interface.

Redline Agent: Clause Name Field for Custom Clause Rule Creation

The Custom Clause Rule creation and edit pages now include a mandatory Clause Name field, requiring administrators to specify a clause name before saving a rule. The clause name also appears on the rule list card. For more information, see Creating a Clause Level Rule.

Fixed Issues

The following issues are fixed in this release. If any actions are required, they will be listed in this table.

Case Number Conga Internal ID Description
- CONTRACTS-42594

The Next Steps panel on the Agreement detail page sometimes displays action buttons that should be hidden based on configured rules. This can occur when loading the page, saving field changes, or completing workflow actions.

- CONTRACTS-42398

Reports and dashboards in the Conga Platform have the following issues:

  • Exported data displays hyperlinks under contract names.
  • Renewal dashboards include contracts in the Request status and contracts with low contract values.
  • Filter options are not consistently available across all dashboards.
NA AIPLAT-6425

Instead of the expected response, the AiMe Q&A agent returns the message "Sorry, cannot assist as it violates our safety guidelines."

- AIPLAT-6275

Search queries on the Conga Platform may produce inconsistent results when filtering by record types or status values. Multi-word contract type names may be split into separate filters, and status literal values may not be accurately recognized. Additionally, activated may be misinterpreted as a record type, partial record type names may lead to incorrect filtering, and one-to-many matching cases for contract types may yield inconsistent results.

Known Issues

The following unresolved issues are known to Conga at the time of this release.

Conga Internal ID Description
CONTRACTS-42868

When creating a contract from a proposal, the Quote Grand Total value from the proposal is not copied to the Total Contract Value field in the contract. The field is left empty. Additionally, when revising the cart and updating the related contract, the updated values are not reflected in the Total Contract Value field.

AIPLAT-6267

Clause analysis includes contracts where the target clause value is absent or does not meet the specified threshold. This issue affects queries involving administrative fees, monthly data submissions, and other clause-specific analyses, leading to inconsistent results and incorrect matches.
