New Features
The following features are new to Composer in this release.
Salesforce Deprecation for Session Ids for Outbound Message Requests
With Salesforce deprecating the use of SessionIds in outbound message requests, any Composer solutions still using SessionId values may need to be converted to Oauth solutions. Instructions on how to implement this process can be found in Convert Non-Oauth Buttons to OAuth.
Central Global Document Repository Integration and Composer Flows Compatibility
The Central Global Document Repository is now integrated with Congadrive, enabling Composer flows to centrally access and manage documents. All Composer-related flows continue to operate seamlessly following this integration, ensuring uninterrupted document management processes.
Composer flows and templates now maintain full compatibility with recent user interface updates in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and contract template modules. Document upload workflows in Conga Drive and template operations function as expected with the updated UI, supporting consistent user experiences across modules.
Automatic translation of webhook labels and keys is now available for 30 supported languages through the Platform Translation Workbench. All new translation keys and labels are included in the ROC schema, providing consistent multilingual support for new organizations during onboarding.
The composer-composer-solutions-support-composer-api and template-merge-field-builder feature flags are removed in production. Solution Manager and Enhanced Merge Field Experience features are now generally available and do not require feature flag activation for access.
Composer Transaction Usage Integration with Conga Platform API
Composer transaction usage data is now transmitted to the Conga Platform usage API. Both successful Composer transactions and error table usage data are sent, enabling comprehensive tracking of Composer activity within the Conga Platform.
Users can review detailed event types, including Composer, Composer API, Batch, Trigger, and APIMode, directly on the Conga Platform. The usage counts displayed in the Composer Activity report align with those shown on the Conga Platform, providing consistent and accurate usage reporting for administrators and implementation teams.
Composer API Document Merge UI and Webhook Management
The Composer API Document Merge UI allows users to select, preview, and deliver merged documents via email, Conga Sign, or download. Administrators configure template selection, enforce a 40-template merge limit, and control delivery options. The UI supports template ordering, error handling for template size and selection, and displays merged document previews with accurate file size information. Templates stored in Conga Drive are available for selection, and delivery options are customizable. The UI can be surfaced in a new browser tab or embedded within customer workflows, with loading screens and customizable branding options.
Recent updates enable merging templates using a webhook ID and previewing merged files directly in the interface. The merge API preserves template order, and preview usage reporting is integrated to log paid transactions only upon document delivery. The Composer Send Email API supports the DS7=12 parameter for email sending, and new endpoints allow retrieval of merged email content and sending emails with attachments. The UI enforces the 40-template merge limit and provides detailed error messages for invalid webhook IDs and webhook save failures.
Webhook Management enhancements include forwarding all headers from the Webhook API, robust credential handling with optional client ID and secret fields, and improved HMAC key generation guidance. The Webhook UI supports text-based request bodies, authentication data warnings, and real-time feedback for webhook creation, editing, and deletion. Pagination, search, and copy-to-clipboard functionality are available for efficient webhook management. Administrators can launch the Document Merge UI from third-party platforms using webhook registration and manage webhook integrations with enhanced error handling and validation.
