New Features and Enhancements
The following features are new to Conga Conga for Google Docs in this release.
Suggesting Mode: Reconciliation of Deleted Items
In Suggesting mode, if you delete a field or clause and do not accept the change, the deleted items will not be included in the reconciliation process. For more information, see Reconciling Contract Document.
Deletion Using Keyboard Options
You can now delete fields and clauses from both templates and contract documents using the Backspace and Delete keys on your keyboard.
New Clause Management Validations
The application now validates the addition of clauses in templates and contracts. You will receive validations in the following scenarios:
- Marking a Clause with Fields
- Marking a Clause Inside another Clause
- Inserting a Clause Within a Marked Clause
For more information, see Marking Plain Text as Clauses in a Template and Marking Plain Text as Clauses in a Contract.
Condition-Based Clauses in Templates
You can now enhance your contract templates with condition-based clauses for greater customization and flexibility. These clauses can be defined using simple or complex expressions through the expression builder. During contract generation, the conditions are evaluated, and the clause text will only be included in the final document if the associated condition evaluates to true. For more information, see Making Clauses Condition-Based in a Template.
Insert Clauses while Creating a Template
You can now insert clauses directly from the Clause Library when creating a template. This removes the need to check in the template first and then unlock it for clause insertion. For more information, see Creating New Templates.
Improved Fields and Clauses List View
The Fields and Clauses list now shows all items in the order they appear on the pages. This change makes it easier for users to find and access the fields and clauses they need.
