New Features and Enhancements
The following features are new to Contracts for Salesforce in this release.
Apostrophes in Approver Names and Email Addresses Display Correctly
Names and emails addresses of Approvers that contain apostrophes now display correctly instead of converting to HTML code. For more information, see Starting a Review Cycle with Office 365.
View Review Cycle Document Versions
At the end of a Review Cycle, a document's version number is now added to the Office 365 Document Collaboration widget with a link to download that specific version. Each version number of the document is available to review and compare, allowing users to more easily track comments. For more information, see Viewing Review Cycle Document Versions.
Save Options for View Redlines
You can configure the Save Options that display on the View Redlines page. Using the View Redline Action Configuration page, you can enable or disable the available options, or order them in a particular sequence. For more information, see Configuring Save Options in View Redlines.
Save Final Document was added as a save option for View Redlines. This new option accepts all changes, removes all comments, and generates a new document. For more information, see Save Options in View Redlines.
Obligation Title Required in Clause Library
The Obligation Title is now a required field when adding or editing clauses in the Clause Library. For more information, see Create Obligations.
Pre-built Reports in the Conga Contracts Folder
The following pre-built reports are now available in the Conga Contracts folder:
- Clause Revision Frequency
- Contract Renewal Pipeline
- Contracts by Status
- Managed Clause Revisions
- Managed Clauses by Type
- Sales Contracts by Owner
- Contracts Expiring Next Year
- Sales Contracts Summarized
- In Process Inventory
Administrators and implementation teams can access these reports as part of the managed package. See What's in the Contracts for Salesforce Package? for more information.
CLM Setup Tab Sections Rearranged
The CLM Setup Tab sections were rearranged to better group related setup options. This update provides administrators and implementation teams with a more structured and accessible setup experience.
Salesforce Value True-Up Option for Unknown Changes
You can now select a Salesforce Value for unknown changes during True-Up. When the Salesforce Value option is chosen, the document updates automatically to reflect the selected Salesforce data during sync. For more information, see Saving Unknown Changes.
Support for Unknown Changes and Data Tags for Individual Profiles and Users
You can now enable the Unknown Data Tag feature flag for individual profiles and users instead of only at the organization level. For more information, see Saving Unknown Changes.
Large Dataset Handling Warning
The Import and Export Clauses feature now displays a warning when any Clause library object contains more than 5,000 records. This does not block the attempt, but proceeding may result in an error and failure to import or export. Administrators and implementation teams are advised to use external tools such as Data Loader or Workbench for handling large data volumes. For more information, see Migration Utility for the Clause Library.
