Enhancements
The following enhancements are new to Contracts for Salesforce in this release.
Contract Agreement Creation via Claude
Contract users can now create agreement records using natural language input through Claude. The tool collects the required fields, creates the record through the standard Salesforce API under the user's own permissions, and returns the record ID, name, and a direct Salesforce link. It provides messages for missing or invalid fields. For more information, see Creating an Contact Agreement Using Claude | Conga Documentation Portal.
Managed Clause Selection via Claude
Contract users can now search for and select managed clauses directly through the connector without accessing the Clause Library UI. The connector enforces the user's permissions, lists only active clauses, shows the latest revision of each clause, and reports clauses that are already added to the agreement. For more information, see Selecting a Managed Clause Using Claude | Conga Documentation Portal.
Clause Bundle Selection via Claude
Added support for searching and selecting clause bundles through the connector. After a bundle is selected, the connector imports it into the agreement and confirms the result, with an error message if the import cannot be completed. Large imports may be processed asynchronously. Fore more information, see Adding a Clause Bundle to a Contract Agreement | Conga Documentation Portal.
Document Generation via Claude
Contract users can now start contract draft generation for an existing agreement through the connector. The connector prepares the document using the agreement's configured Composer template and directs the user to complete generation in Salesforce through a link to the agreement. An error is returned if the Composer template or required settings are missing. For more information, see Generating an Contract Agreement Document Using Claude | Conga Documentation Portal.
Send for Negotiation via Claude
Contract users can now send agreements for negotiation to counterparties through the connector, without switching to the CFS application. The feature supports overriding the recipients (To, CC, and BCC), email template, subject, and message. At least one document must be attached to the agreement, and the user selects which attachments to send. On success, the connector returns a receipt with the sender, recipients, send time, and message ID. For more information, see Sending a Contract Agreement for Negotiation Using Claude | Conga Documentation Portal.
Send for Signature via Claude
Contract users can open Send for Signature in Salesforce directly from the Send for Negotiation result in the connector. The link is shown only to users who have the setting enabled and a Conga Sign license. Sending the document for signature is completed in Salesforce. For more information, see Sending a Contract Agreement for Signature Using Claude | Conga Documentation Portal.
