System Requirements and Supported Platforms
For requirements and recommendations to consider before installing the Conga product suite, see the System Requirements and Supported Platforms Matrix.
New Features and Enhancements
The following features are new to Conga CPQ in this release.
New Admin Setting - APTS_EnableExpressionLockOnAttribute
APTS_EnableExpressionLockOnAttribute
, a new setting lets you lock or unlock attribute expressions. You can decide whether manual changes are allowed or if expressions will update the attribute.
For more information, see Configuring Admin Settings and Configuring Products from the Catalog.
New Admin Setting to Manage Favorites with Large Bundles
A new admin setting, APTS_EnableFavoriteExecutionWithTurbo
, along with the getFavoriteConfigurationData
remote action to add favorites to the cart. This prevents duplicate entries when adding large bundles and favorite groups together.
For more information, see Configuring Admin Settings.
New Admin Setting - APTS_EnableAttributeGroupReset
APTS_EnableAttributeGroupReset
, a new setting lets you reset all attribute selections on the Attribute Page. This allows you to test changes and easily revert to the original settings.
For more information, see Configuring Admin Settings.
Restrict Access to Cart
CPQ allows you to restrict access to the cart from quote, agreement, and order pages. To achieve this, you must add the 'Is Task Pending' field (checkbox) to the Quote/Proposal, Agreement, and Order objects.
If you try to access the cart with this flag enabled, CPQ restricts cart access and shows the following message:
'Configuration is temporarily Unavailable due to ongoing Asynchronous processes. Please try again once all processes are complete.'
Support for Quantity Change to Cascade to Option Level
For a bundle product with options, during any asset-based operation, when the quantity of the bundle is changed, the quantity cascades to all options. This is possible when the Asset Pricing Criteria has Quantity selected in the Criteria Field. For more information see, Changing an Asset.
Enhancement to the Deal Guidance Pop-up Window
The deal guidance pop-up window headers are dynamic and adjusted based on the selected measure. The “Price From" and "Price To" headers are displayed as Net Price From and Net Price To for all measures except custom measures.
Enhancement to the Deal Guidance Pop-up Window
The deal guidance pop-up now displays the currency for the selected price band. This enables you to view the actual currency value (for example USD) before the Amount in the Net Price From and Net Price To columns.
Support for Price Ramps with 'Usage' Price Method
Pricing Administrators can create Price Ramps using either the 'Recurring' or 'Usage' Price Method.
The system now allows Price Ramps with the 'Usage' Price Method when 'Enable Ramps' is set to TRUE. Previously, only the 'Recurring' Price Method was supported.
Support of Swagger Logs in CPQ Admin
Administrators can now generate Swagger logs for different users in Turbo without needing their security tokens. A new "Swagger Logs" page allows to set log parameters, including date range, log level, and tracing flag. This feature is exclusive to Turbo Engines, and users in Classic Org will receive a message prompting them to upgrade.
For more information, see Generating Swagger Logs.
Code Line Numbers in Debug Logs
Debug logs now show code line numbers regardless of the UI exception feature flag. This change allows you to identify issues without turning off the is-callback-exception-throw-enabled
flag.
Creating New Price Lists with Custom Lookup Fields
You can now create new price lists using custom lookup fields. This feature streamlines the process by allowing the use of these fields for new price list creation.
For more information, see Configuring Custom Fields on Price List Related Pages.
Custom Measures on the Deal Guidance Pop-up Window
The pop-up now displays only the “#CustomMeasure From” and “#CustomMeasure To” columns, without referencing 'Net Price From' and 'Net Price To'. For the Custom Measure, the Deal Guidance pop-up shows these two columns exclusively. Previously, the pop-up showed both the From and To measures alongside their respective From and To prices.
Support for Mass Start and End Date Changes on Asset Line Items
You can change the start and end dates of multiple asset line items simultaneously during an amend operation. When using the baseprice method, the line status for all items, including non-primary ramps, updates to “Amended.“
Product Attribute Value Length for Text Fields
For product attribute text fields, you can now only enter text up to the predefined character limit. The character limit appears when hovering over the help icon of the product attribute text field.
For more information, see Configuring Products from the Catalog.
