Packages
The following packages and dependencies are required to upgrade to this release and use its new features. These are the minimum required versions; later versions are also supported. Prerequisites for each feature can be found in its documentation. Packages marked (New) are new for this release.

New Features and Enhancements
The following features are new to Digital Commerce in this release.
Support Custom Fields in v5 Cart Creation API
You can pass both custom and out-of-the-box fields in the payload when you create carts using the Digital Commerce v5 /carts API and receive those fields back in the cart response. This enhancement brings version 5 in line with the behavior of the version 4 API. Hence, when you send field values (such as Effective Date or other custom configuration fields) in the request, you see the same fields and values returned in the response. This enhancement ensures that your downstream processes, including constraint rule evaluation that depends on product configuration fields to work as expected after you move from version 4 to version5.
