Conga X-Author for Contracts Advanced for Salesforce February'26 Release Notes

In these release notes, you can find packages, requirements, features, enhancements, fixed issues, and known issues for the X-Author for Contracts Advanced for Salesforce February'26 release. For documentation updates, see What's New in X-Author for Contracts Advanced for Salesforce.

New Features and Enhancements

The following features are new to Conga X-Author for Contracts Advanced in this release.

Clause Swap Support for Undeletable Custom Content Controls

You can now swap standard and alternate clauses containing the following undeletable custom content controls in contract templates without encountering warning messages:

  • Rich Text

  • Plain Text

  • Drop Down List

  • Combo Box

  • Check Box

For clauses with Repeating Section, Date Picker, Picture, or Building Block Gallery content controls, a warning message displays if the controls are locked for deletion.

Custom Content Control Clause Action Behavior Update

Modifications to these fields with the following custom content controls now display as FieldChangeOnly instead of Modified:

  • Rich Text

  • Plain Text

  • Drop Down List

  • Combo Box

  • Check Box

Copilot Post-Processing Logic

CLM APIs now support aggregate operations: users can ask Copilot questions that require counting and basic math operations on values pulled from the document. For example, a user can ask Copilot to add field values of a specific category in a document, count the number of third parties, calculate averages and means, group results, and find maximum and minimum values.

There were no fixed issues in this release.

Known Issues

The following unresolved issues are known to Conga at the time of this release.

N/AThere are known issues from Microsoft Word version 6.104 (25121423) that restricts the X-Author for Contract Advanced pane attachment post "Update from CLM" action, rendering doc fields, and the compare and merge actions. Conga recommended any users experiencing these issues to upgrade to latest stable Microsoft Word version 16.104.1 (26010228).
