Before proceeding with the steps below, follow the instructions to navigate to Identity Provider Management.

1. Click the button labeled Add Identity Provider.
2. Enter a friendly name for the new identity provider and select the most specific type that matches your provider implementation.
   
   
3. Click OK. A new row will appear in the list of identity providers.
4. Using this new row, follow the instructions in this document to Update an Identity Provider. You must also configure at least one Username Format.
