Smart Document provides the ability to the user to lock the content of the document that will be generated. To do so, the user must go the Settings Tab.

This password can then be used to unlock the final document.

See the How to Unlock Parts of a Document section below to create sections in the document that will be unlocked for editing, despite the whole document being locked.

How to Lock the Whole Document

How to Unlock Parts of a Document

To unlock parts of content, the user must create a section around the content that will be allowed for edition. The user must then edit the section. In the Allow editing tab, the user will need to tick the box to Enable editing of the section content and then save it.
