Set Segment Menu in X-Author Templates

Applying a custom style to a Segment within a template

You must highlight the text, field, or segment to make it Regular.
Note: You cannot add an action if the conditional resolves to False.
  1. In the X-Author Templates ribbon tab, click Set Segment > Style.
    The Control Panel will appear.


  2. Click the ellipses icon , next to the field for Style, and the Select Styles dialog box will appear.
  3. By default, any custom styles will appear in the Select Styles dialog box. Click the Show built-in styles check box to populate the list with built-in Microsoft Word styles.
  4. Select the style you want to apply and click Select.Notice that the name of the selected style is applied to the Style property in the Control Panel.


You have successfully applied a custom or Microsoft-defined style (Style) to a segment within a Template.
