Customizing the App Experience

Delete Action

In Salesforce, before you create and use a delete action, you must first enable the Delete action for a designer. You must perform these steps just once.

To update the License Webservice Endpoint custom setting

  1. Go to Setup > App Setup > Develop > Custom Settings.
  2. Click Manage for X-Author for Excel System Properties and click New.
  3. In Name, type System Properties as the data set name.
  4. In License Webservice Endpoint, enter https://ls.apttus.net:8443/cgi-bin/1.3/LicenseServer/Bin/LSCGI.exe
  5. Click Save.

To refresh your local license files

  1. Close all instances of Excel.
  2. In the Run dialog, type %appdata%\Apttus

  3. Click OK. Windows explorer appears.
  4. Delete the two files starting with lma.


  5. Open Excel and log in to your Org and open the App.

The Delete Action is enabled.
