Enhancements

The following enhancements are new in this release.

Permit Delegation

The 'Permit Delegation' toggle button which enables users to grant delegate access for document review, now also ensures that only authorized users send the documents for review. While sending documents for review, if the users are not logged in to their Microsoft account or if the token is expired, they are prompted for their Microsoft email address and password.

Selecting an Account's Primary Contact

Contract administrators create contacts belonging to an account. Contract Managers can now select one of these contacts as a primary point of contact for the account.

Account Currency Data Type Changed

Contract managers can select currency for an account from a picklist instead of manually entering it.

Contract End Date Field Calculation

When a user specifies the Term Months field value for a contract, the Contract End Date field is automatically calculated as the date that is one day prior to the date derived by adding Terms Months to the Contract Start Date. This applies to contracts having contract term type as "Fixed term" or "Auto Renew".

Importing Offline Documents

Contract Managers can import third-party papers for a contract at any stage of its lifecycle up to contract activation. Contract status and the status category do not change after importing an offline document.

Confirmation Message on Review Completion

The confirmation message displayed to the users on successfully finishing the review cycle for all reviewers or an individual reviewer is enhanced to include the document name.

Email Templates Availability based on Action

Contract administrators can control the visibility of email templates available to the user for selection by mapping email templates and actions. Email templates can be mapped to the following actions:

  • Send for Review (Simple Review and Microsoft 365 Review)

  • End Review
  • Generate Document

  • Send for Wet Signature
  • Update Contract Owner
  • Contract Activation
  • Contract Expiration

  • Contract Termination

  • Contract Cancelation

Contract Managers see only the email templates relevant to the action being performed.

Timestamp Removed from Agreement Fields

Timestamp is removed from the following Agreement fields to enhance user experience. The users need to select only the date and not the timestamp while capturing these dates

  • Contract Start Date
  • Contract End Date
  • Retention Date
  • Activated Date
  • Termination Date
  • Executed Date
  • Amendment Effective Date
  • Internal Renewal Start Date
  • Renewal Notice Date
  • Termination Notice Issue Date
