New Features and Enhancements
The following features are new to Conga Contract Lifecycle Management in this release.
Administrators can enable the Hide Create New Contract Form setting to skip the “Create a New Contract” form for users with access to only one contract type.
When this setting is enabled, users with access to only one contract type can skip the ‘Create a New Contract’ form and proceed directly to creating a contract.
Default Sign Provider Selection
Administrators can set a signature provider to be selected by default when users initiate the 'Send for Signature' action on a contract. Users can choose a different signature provider if needed.
Workflow: Supporting Custom Expressions
Administrators can configure the workflow activity to support custom expressions by navigating to Admin Console > Workflow.
Users can monitor progress using the transition bar on the contract details page. This bar updates according to the criteria expressions defined in the workflow activity, supporting custom expressions.
API to Import Large Files
/api/clm/v1/contracts/contractId/importoffline/large API is introduced to support import of files exceeding 150 MB in size. It currently supports importing pdf, png, txt, and rtf file types.
Creating and Cloning Clause Records
Users can access the Clauses tab on the Contract Details page to create and clone clause records.
DocuSign eSignature Request Recall
Users can recall an in-progress DocuSign eSignature request sent to the recipients. Once a signature request is recalled, the recipients can no longer review or sign the document.
Administrators can configure whether users see the Finalize button or the Send for Signatures button on the Send for Signature page. Based on these settings, users can either:
- Add signature-related fields: Users can customize the documents by adding specific signature fields for the recipients before sending them for signature.
- Send without adding fields: Users can bypass the field customization and directly send the documents for signature.
Simple Review Initiation with an Inprogress Review Cycle
Users can select a document that is already in a simple review cycle and send it for another simple review. When this occurs, the current review cycle is completed, and a new one is initiated. This functionality is available when a simple review is initiated from either the Contract Details page or the contract’s Documents tab.
