New Features 

The following new features are available for this release:

New Contract Profile Beta Features

The new Contract Profile user interface is now available for beta testing in sandbox accounts only by request. If you'd like to enable the new Contract Profile in your sandbox, contact your Customer Success Manager. This is a beta preview and does not yet contain all the features and functionalities of the current interface. 


The following New Contract Profiles features were added:

Field Value Behavior

Field values now behave based on settings in List Admin. 

Wizard Tools Options

The following options are now available in Wizard Tools:

  • Assign Contract
  • Renew Contract

Flow Step Actions

  • Reassign is now available as a flow step action.

  • Messaging is now available as part of a flow step action.

You can now search for users in your address book for both of these actions.

  • Complete is now available as a flow step action. 

  • You can assign the following Flow Step Actions to a business function if the business function is the same as the business function listed on your user profile: Approve, Decline, Complete, Send, Reassign.

Recent Documents

The document title is now a link you can click to download the document.

Company Name

The Company name in the right panel is now a link that navigates to the Company Profile page.

Navigation

The Basic Information section under Contract Details is now expanded by default. When you open the Terms and Renewals section, the Basic Information and Additional Fields collapse for easier viewing of your selected section. 

Header

In the Header, Status was changed to Contract Status, and the Contract Number is now a link that navigates to Contract Details. The header menu options were changed to the following order: Contract Status, Effective Date, Expiration Date, Term-Type, and Contract Purpose. The fields were left-aligned, term type was added, and the font color, font size, and icons were adjusted. 

Disable Field

The option to disable a field is now an available Profile Rule action type.

Font Size and Color Updates

Updated font size and colors for the following:

  • Contract Details
  • Edit Contracts
  • Create Contract
  • Add Incorporated
  • Copy Contract
  • Contract Profile Top Menu Link

Invalidate Flow Option

Added the option for users with Flow Admin permissions to invalidate Flows. Open the Contract Profile, click the dropdown arrow in the upper right corner, and select Invalidate Flow from the menu. 

Flow Steps Actions Override 

Flow Admins can now skip flow steps by selecting the Override option in Actions. 

Contract Profile System Level Validation 

Conga Contracts validates data entered within the Contract profile and displays error messages to flag incorrect or missing data. 

User Types and Permissions

The following user types were added: Full User, Casual User, and Contracts Request User.

Company Search

Contract Admins can now search for companies by entering the first three letter of the company name or a wild card when creating a contract. Search now works consistently across the entire Conga Contracts application. 

Contract Responsibility Mandatory Fields 

Contract Administrators can now make responsibility fields mandatory by checking Required when creating, editing, adding, or cloning a contract. 

Incorporated Contract Creation 

Contract Administrators can now create incorporated contracts without a parent contract if Allow Incorporated Contracts to be Created without a Parent is enabled in System Settings. 

Company Advanced Search

You can now search for Companies with the Advanced Search option. 

Enhancements

The following new enhancements are available for this release:

Add multiple documents to a Conga Sign package

You can now add multiple documents to a Conga Sign package. 

Profile Rule Updates

Updates were made to Profile Rule validation in the beta environment to further align with how Profile Rules work in production. 

Global Default Bulk Uploader

Added a global default for the bulk uploader to include the Conga Platform Exclude field on the excel template.

REST API Enhancements

The Conga Contracts REST API Version 2.0 was updated with the following enhancements:

  • Insert or create a bulk operation on a Contract object
  • Insert or create a bulk operation on a Company object
  • Describe Contract object metadata
  • Describe Company object metadata
  • Describe a Project object metadata
  • Describe a Company Location object metadata
  • Describe custom object and additional forms metadata
