New Features

Following are the new features introduced in this release:

Introduced Smart Search

Smart search is a limited availability feature. Please contact product support to explore the feature.

The Smart Search feature allows you to search for information without the need to understand the working of CLM. This feature allows you to find information of any record regardless of where the information is stored. Smart Search supports natural language search. This means you can search for information in CLM using everyday language. 

Ability to Set Up Organization-Wide Email Address

The organization-wide email address allows you to associate an email address to user profiles. When you assign an organization-wide email address for all the user profiles or selected user profiles, users can use the common email address while sending emails. You can set up multiple organization-wide email addresses, but you can use only one organization-wide email address to send emails.

Ability to Configure Email Notifications for Review Cycle and Activation

You can update the available activation and review cycle classic email templates according to your requirement.

Introduced New Activation UI

You can update the available activation and review cycle classic email templates according to your requirement.

Ability to Configure the Header Fields on the In Effect View Page

You can configure the fields that are displayed in the header section of the In-Effect View page. You can add a maximum of 15 fields in the header. 

Introduced REST APIs

From this release, CLM supports the following REST APIs:

Introduced New CLM Theme

If you are installing CLM for the first time, you can see the new logo and icons that are part of rebranding from Apttus to Conga.

Enhancements

Following are the enhancements introduced in this release:

Ability to View the Progress Bar

When you review a document that exceeds 10MB in size, you can view the Loading Document progress bar to track the document loading progress.

Ability to Configure Custom Buttons

You can configure View Agreement Hierarchy and In Effect View custom buttons to be visible on the Agreement Detail page in the Action Panel. 

Deprecated OCC Related Artifacts

Online Contract Collaboration (OCC) was a part of CLM until the Winter '20 release. From this release, OCC is a different package and hence the artifacts related to OCC are removed from CLM. 

Restricted Guest User Access

With the Spring ’21 release, Salesforce has removed the View All, Modify All, edit, and delete permissions for guest users in all orgs. Hence, Conga CLM does not support guest user access. For more information, see Salesforce Documentation.

Ability to View Large Files in Document Viewer 

When you import large files using Intelligent Discovery and review the processed document, you can view the large files in the document viewer.

Enhanced Agreement Version Number Field

The version number of the agreement is incremented each time an agreement is amended. The agreement Version number field size is increased from 3 to 4 digits. This means you can create a maximum of 9999 versions. 

Ability to Select a Field Value from Multiple Field Values Extracted from Kira

If a document extracted using Kira contains multiple values for a field, you can select the correct field value from the dropdown. 

Removed Review Offline Button in Lightning

You can review the documents imported through intelligent discovery by using the intelligent discovery status panel in lightning. You can use the Review Offline button in Classic to review the documents imported through intelligent discovery.

User Experience Analysis for Intelligent Discovery

useAnalytics is a User Experience Analysis component that collects product usage data. No action is required on your part and there is no impact to any existing product features, system functionality, or configured workflows. No personally identifiable information (PII), nor any other proprietary, confidential, or sensitive data will be collected. 

Ability to Customize In Effect View and View Hierarchy Buttons

You can customize the visibility of the In Effect View and View Hierarchy buttons according to your requirement.

Ability to Exclude Objects from the Wizard Dropdown

The APTS_ExcludedNamespaces admin entry allows you to add a comma-separated list of namespaces to exclude objects from the wizard dropdown.

Ability to Set Frequency for Creating MS Teams Channel 

The MSTeamsJobScheduler job allows you to create an MS Teams channel according to your expected frequency.
