New Features
Following are the new features introduced in this release:
Signer Roles
DocuSign for Apttus now enables the users to make the tagging order explicit. The users can select the recipient role name while adding a recipient. To enable this feature, the Recipient Roles Enabled custom setting must be enabled. The users will then see an additional option list to select the role name for the recipient on the Add Recipient view.
Signing Groups
DocuSign for Apttus now allows the users to fetch the signing groups as recipients from your DocuSign account into Apttus. The document can then be sent to the entire group for signing. When sending for eSignature, they can sync the information between DocuSign and Apttus to get the signing groups information.
DocuSign for Apttus now enables the users to remove the up or down order buttons from the Add Recipient screen. To enable this feature, you must enable Remove Recipient Ordering checkbox. The tagging order is affected when the order buttons are visible.
Ability to make Email Subject and Email Body as Read Only
DocuSign for Apttus now enables the users to mark the Email Subject and Email Body (at envelope level) as read-only on Additional Details screen on Add Recipient user interface. To enable this feature, you must disable Edit Email Enabled checkbox, in System Properties. When enabled, the user will be able to edit the email subject and email body and the preview button is enabled and resolve any merge fields in the email subject and email body. When disabled, the user will not be able to edit the email subject and email body and the preview button is disabled.
New Enhancements
Following are the new enhancements introduced in this release:
Updated Agreement Status in record
After sending the document for eSignature, an envelope is created. Once the envelope is created, the system fetches the agreement status and automatically submits the job for getting eSignature status. Hence, the agreement status record is updated before you reach to that record to ensure that the Agreement Status is always refreshed.
Ability to view the Decline Reason
If a signer declines to sign the document, the signer is asked to enter the Decline Reason before rejecting the document. Now, decline reason is visible as a field in the Activity History related list.
Ability to remove access to Recipient Configuration
The recipients and attachments can be configured if you have enabled Add Attachments Enabled and Add Recipients Enabled checkboxes in System Properties. When Add Attachments Enabled and Add Recipients Enabled checkboxes are disabled, the attachments and recipients become read-only content and you will not be able to edit any information.
