New Features

Following are the new features introduced in this release:

Reminders and Expiration of an eSignature Request

DocuSign for Apttus now enables you to set the default validity and frequency of an eSignature request. Default values for reminders and expiration are taken from the DocuSign account itself, which can be overwritten with custom values, and can be set so that no one can edit them. The users can either set default reminders and expiration at Salesforce org level or set reminders and expiration at the document level. To enable default reminders and expiration, a user must enable the Use Default Reminders & Expiration custom setting in System Properties.

Ability to return signed documents to Related Agreements

In previous releases, the signed agreements were returned to the Primary Agreement. DocuSign for Apttus now enables you to return the signed documents to Related Agreements. This feature is enabled for both Primary Agreements and Child Agreements. The returning of Related Agreements is governed by the Update RSPC Agreement Status custom setting in Comply System Properties. Users can also filter the Related, Sibling, Parent, and Child agreements by Parent Agreement Status. This feature is controlled by the Filter RSPC By Primary Agreement Status custom settings in Comply System Properties.

New Enhancements

Following are the new enhancements introduced in this release:

Ability to enable One-Click Send for specific Agreements or Quote/Proposal

In previous releases, when you enabled the One-Click Send custom setting in System Properties, the feature was enabled for all the documents that you sent. DocuSign for Apttus now enables you to selectively apply One-Click Send on required Agreements or Quote/Proposals. To enable this feature, you must disable the One-Click Send custom setting in System Properties, and append the following code along with the ID of your Agreement or Quote/Proposal after your instance URL.

Ability to add members of a signing group from Salesforce org

DocuSign for Apttus now enables you to add and delete members of your DocuSign Signing Group from Salesforce org. You can only update your existing signing groups.

Ability to delete members of a signing group from Salesforce org

DocuSign for Apttus now enables you to delete members of your DocuSign Signing Group from Salesforce org. You can update only the existing signing groups.

Ability to disable Admin Login for DocuSign Account Setup tab

With this release of DocuSign for Apttus, you can disable the Administrative Login for other users. This feature enables non-Admin users to access the Signing Groups tabs, while preventing them from accessing the Setup DocuSign Account tab. This can be achieved by restricting the access to Account Setup page of various profiles in Salesforce.

Ability to configure Default Recipients that can not be deleted

DocuSign for Apttus now enables you to configure DocuSign Default Recipients that can not be deleted from Recipients list. You can change the order of your recipients, but you can not delete that recipient. To enable this feature, you must select the Required? check box for the DocuSign Default Recipient record.

Ability to enable Finalize in DocuSign for specific Profiles

DocuSign for Apttus now enables you to configure the visibility of the Finalize in DocuSign feature for specific Profiles. When you enable Finalize in DocuSign for specific Profiles, only the mentioned profiles will be able to view the Finalize in DocuSign button when they click Send for Signature. You can enter multiple Profiles, separated by commas. This feature works only if you have enabled the View in DocuSign checkbox in System Properties.
