Following are the new features introduced in this release:
Billing Period for Evergreen Assets
For Evergreen Assets, the Selling Term need not be one. Apttus Billing now considers the Selling Term based on the Start and End Dates to generate Billing Schedules for evergreen assets. If you do not specify an End Date for Evergreen Assets, Billing Schedules will be generated on the basis of the Renewal Term and the amount per Billing Period will be the Net Price.
Split the Billing Plan Amount Evenly
You will see a new option of 'Split Evenly' to choose from the Billing Method picklist on both the Billing Plan and Billing Plan Template. When applied, this option equally divides the total amount based on the number of installments. If you're upgrading the Billing package, you need to add the Split Evenly option manually to the Billing Method picklist on the Billing Plan object.
