Support of Usage Indexing for a Usage-based Product
For a product with usage-based pricing, Apttus Billing now supports usage indexing for both flat price and per unit price. If usage indexing is enabled, the total quantity is recalculated each time during a rating process and the billing allows you to walk down each usage price tier until the quantity is exhausted.
Credit Limit Allocation from Multiple Billing Schedule
Billing credits are no longer limited to a single billing schedule. With this new feature, the credit amount is not just limited to a single billing schedule. You can now calculate the credit amount from all the invoiced billing schedules of an asset.
Ability to Specify Batch Size for the Usage Rating
With this release, a new custom setting - Usage Rating Batch Size - is introduced that you can use to specify the batch size of the usage rating. You can use the custom setting to specify the number of usage inputs that the billing should process per batch while rating the usage.
Ability to Generate Credit Memo Document using an API
You can now generate credit memo documents using an API. You can generate credit memo documents in the following formats:
