New Features and Enhancements

In this release, Conga CPQ offers the following new features and enhancements.

Enable Co-Term Value Parameter for On-Demand Renewals

The On-Demand Renewals process now supports the ability to co-term assets allowing you to pass a co-term parameter that specifies the desired co-termination end date. The enhancement provides three co-termination options: Retain the Current Asset End Date (default if no parameter is passed), Use the Farthest Asset End Date, and Enter the Renewal Date. This allows you to set the desired co-term option before triggering On-Demand Renewals, ensuring all renewed lines share the same end date based on the selected option. 

Lookup Attribute Control with Product Attribute Rules

Administrators can configure Product Attribute Rules for lookup-type attributes, enabling them to control the display and usage of the rules based on specified criteria. These rules are applicable across all scopes and actions including Default, Hidden, Disabled, Required, and Reset.

Lookup attributes must be available in the Lookup Field settings to use them.

UI Enhancements in Conga Upgrade Assistant

  • The Conga Upgrade Assistant registration confirmation message is displayed in a new tab in the same window. The message pop-up closes automatically, and then you can close the tab. 
  • The Conga Package Access pop-up is included in the Instant Upgrade and Schedule Upgrade operations. 
  • On the Instant Upgrade tab, in the Job Duration column, the data is refreshed every two minutes for an in-progress job. 

Custom Visualforce Page Integration for Price Waterfall

Administrators can define a custom Visualforce (VF) section on the waterfall page to display additional information about the waterfall or line items below the waterfall chart.

Page Load Performance for Large Option Groups

The CPQ Admin Console experienced significant page load times and browser errors when attempting to view option groups containing more than 100 options. This enhancement aims to improve the performance and stability of the CPQ Admin Console, ensuring that pages load optimally and without causing the browser to hang, even when managing large option groups.
