Conga Orchestrate Installation

Prerequisite

You have an account with Salesforce.

Installing Conga Orchestrate

  1. Go to the AppExchange listing and click Get It Now.
  2. Log in to your Salesforce account.
  3. Select Install for Admins.
  4. Select Install.
  5. Select the Yes, access to these third-party web sites checkbox to use this web service to manage access to Conga Orchestrate features. Conga enables features based on the license level you purchase. This web service reports user counts to Conga for license auditing.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Click Done to return to Setup. You will receive an email when the installation is complete.

Configuring Connected App

  1. From Setup, enter Connected Apps in the Quick Find.
  2. Click Connected Apps.
  3. Click OrchestrateSetup.
  4. Click the Edit Policies button.
  5. In the Permitted Users dropdown, select admin-approved users are pre-authorized.
  6. Click OK to accept the security warning. You will satisfy the requirements in the following steps.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Scroll down the page and select Manage Profiles or Manage Permission Sets (depending on how you will manage Conga Orchestrate access).
  9. Choose the profiles or permission sets that have access to Conga Orchestrate. You can only add custom (non-managed) permission sets.
  10. Click Save.

Whitelist OAuth addresses

If you are using trusted IP ranges, enter the static IP addresses below in Salesforce Setup.

Whitelisting IP addresses org-wide

  1. Go to Setup > Security Controls > Network Access.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter the IP addresses:

Whitelisting IP addresses per profile

Note: Only add the IP addresses below if your organization restricts IP ranges. Adding these IP addresses without whitelisting other ranges may lock users out of Salesforce.
  1. Go to Setup > Manage Users > Profiles > (select the profile name) > Login IP Ranges.
  2. Enter the IP addresses:

These processes are ready to use as-is, so you can get the feel for how to use Orchestrate to power your processes. Clone and modify the processes for your own use cases. Assign steps in ways that make sense for your organization and your team structures in Salesforce.

Tip: Standard or custom user lookup fields, Salesforce account teams, and queues all work with Orchestrate.

See the videos and steps below to use these processes. Setup and configuration take approximately 5 minutes.

  1. Install Conga Orchestrate from the AppExchange. If you are not familiar with AppExchange, watch this video for a walkthrough on installing Conga Orchestrate.

  2. Configure Conga Orchestrate.

    Note: We recommend configuring Conga Orchestrate to work with the Salesforce Task object and running processes with the Business Process object that comes ready to use with Conga Orchestrate.
  3. Import Conga Orchestrate Processes and try them out.
    1. Download this text file.
    2. Use the downloaded text file to import the Conga Orchestrate Processes.
