Cybersource Account Setup with Secure Acceptance
If your organization already has a merchant ID, sign in to the Business Center at https://ebc.cybersource.com/ebc2/ and ask your administrator to add you as a user.
If you need a new Cybersource merchant account, request enrollment directly through the Cybersource sales team using the Contact Us page on the Cybersource website.
Creating Profiles Under Secure Acceptance Setting
You can create profiles under Secure Acceptance to define how Cybersource processes payment requests and notifications. This task helps you set up profile details, integration methods, and services so the profile can later be completed and activated for use.
The profile is created as “Inactive.” You can complete profile values to promote it using the steps in Editing Secure Acceptance Profiles at any time.
Editing Secure Acceptance Profile
You can edit a Secure Acceptance profile to update payment, security, notification, and branding settings. This task helps you modify an inactive profile and promote the changes so they take effect in the active profile.
Defining Payment Methods
You can define payment methods for a Secure Acceptance profile to control how customers complete payments. This task helps you select supported card types, authentication options, currencies, and authorization settings so payment processing works as expected.
Creating Access and Security Key
You can create access and security keys to authenticate and secure Cybersource transactions. This task helps you generate the required keys and store them in the Cybersource custom settings so transactions can be processed securely.
- From the Edit Profile page, go to the Security tab.
- Click the Create icon.
- Enter a Key Name and click Create.
An access key and security key is generated. You must enter the keys in the APTS_CyberSource_Profile_Details__c Cybersource custom setting.
Configure Transaction Responses
You can configure transaction responses from the Notification tab. You can define whether to receive responses through email or a post on API. Currently, Email notifications are supported.
Configure Customer Responses
The customer response setting allows you to configure the redirect page after the transaction is completed/canceled.
